When I wake up, the first thing I do is root myself in connection to my best, purest intentions. I don’t know what the greatest common good is, but I know that I want to be a contributor. Ordinarily there wouldn’t be anything special about this two-egg spinach omelette next to wedges of butter and cheese laden focaccia. Sure, it was finished with black Icelandic salt flakes, and it made a pretty picture. Big deal.
