The mythical tanuki of Japanese legend and folklore brings good times and good fortune. Here, the tanuki is depicted in a state of absolute enlightenment and oneness with all things. This stretched and mounted canvas fine art photo print by keeps all that good juju wherever you need it. This is an unframed, stretched canvas print. Shipping is included in the price.
I caught two raccoons climbing onto the roof of my building. One was struggling to keep from falling out of the tree next to the building, and this one was watching from the safety of the roof. I don’t ordinarily use a flash, but quickly capturing the moment in darkness made it necessary.
The reflection of the flash in the raccoon’s eyes isn’t usually considered desirable in fine art photography, but I like the rough, disposable snapshot camera look it lends. This is definitely one of my quirkier prints. Visit my gallery shop to see more.
